Palma de Mallorca

Hellooo!!
How are you? I think that all of us returned to the gray reality. In Poland we say “Święta, święta i po świętach”. This sentence means that we are preparing a very long time for Christmas and then everything happens in one second, in a trice. This is the sad truth but on the other hand during this preparation we always spend a lot of time with the family . I love this time J It is so much fun! Okey, the time blissful laziness is over! We have a work to do :P
In this post I would like to write something about the capital of Mallorca, also the autonomous community of the Balearic, Palma. The history of this city is very complicated because as an island, Mallorca has been subject of a lot conquests and invasions throughout its history; the Arabs, the Roman, the Moors…Thanks for numerous invasions in the architecture of the city can be see multiculturalism. The most famous monuments of the city is a Gothic Catholic cathedral, The Cathedral of Santa María de Palma built 1229-1601. The tourists visiting Palma can not omit this amazing place.

The next famous monuments is a Royal Palace of La Almudaina. This marvelous place having been built as an Arabian Fort. Nowadays, it is a museum related to the history of the city and the royal family.

In my opinion, it is enough information for today. To be continued…
See you later,
Kamila
