Hi, there!
How are
you? In this post I don’t want to write about “bureaucracy” of au paring
because I said the most important things. So, I will write something about
Mallorca, precisely only the most important information. First, I hope, all you
know that Mallorca is an island located in the archipelago of the Balearic
Island, in the Mediterranean Sea. It is the largest island in archipelago. The
capital of Mallorca, also the autonomous community of the Balearic, is Palma.
Due to the geographic location Mallorca has typical Mediterranean climates. This
climate is characterized by warm to hot, long summers and soft winters. However,
when it comes to the languages, currently, both Catalan and Spanish are
official. Nearly 93,1% can understand catalan. Practically, Mallorca is a tourist
island which also affect to the classification of the most important languages.
Nowadays, a lot of residents speak English, German and Russian. Contemporary, about
2,000 poles lives in Mallorca. Okey J I think it is the most important information.
P.S.
How are your Christmas preparations going? I still
have to do a lot of things: presents, prepare food, tree… and I can’t thonk
what else there is to do..

The host countries
Hi my dear bloggers!!
At the beginning, I would like to apologize
because I didn’t write since a long time. I started working as a nanny part
time and it’s difficult to connect everything J I think that a lot of people have the
same problem as me. I hope I’ll write
regularly.
In this post I want to write a few words about the most popular host countries. What do you
think which country it the most popular? The most important host countries are:
Great Britain, USA and Canada. In other words, the most popular are English-
speaking countries. In the era of English
linguistic imperialism it’s very important to have a good command of this
language. Au pairing give you this opportunity! It’s obvious that au pair have
a lot of possibility to learn or practice other languages. Which it’s very
important that very often the host family pay for the courses of their au pair J We all know that it’s the best possibility
to learn other languages!!
On the other hand, a lot of au pair choose the
country whose language (except English) they are studying, for example, in the
school. In this ranking the winners are: Spain, Germany and France. I chose
Spain because I’m a student of Spanish Philology.
P.S.
In Polnad still it's ranning...and I have one question...Where is my sun?? LLLL

To be au pair: It's easier than you think!
Hellooo :)
In the last post, I answered the question: who is an au pair. Now, I want to explain how to be an au pair. It’s easy as ABC. The future au pair has two options:
- Register and search for a host family matching a lot of criteria in one of the websites
- Go to the au pair agency in her home town.
The first option is free of charge. It means that the future au pair only has to register and them she can begin to search for a host family. On the one hand, it’s quite easy but on the other hand, it’s dangerous because the future au pair doesn’t have any certainty that the family provides real data on their profile. The second option is more safe but it’s very expensive. In other words, the future au pair must pay of agency for the services.
In my mind, the second option is better for beginners au pair, because they have a certainty that all will be good and my experience confirms all. I know a lot of au pair who were forced to leave the host family the cause of false data.
Have a good one!!
Kamila :)
P.S.
At the moment, in Poland it's ranning.....I wanto to be in Mallorca, feel the sand under my feet. This is my favorite place in Mallorca, the beach Cala Pi. I spent here a lot of time :)

Au Pair: Who is it?
Hello
everyone!
In this post I want to explain who is an au pair. It’s true that a lot of people think that au pair is only baby-sitter. In other words, it is nothing more that a nanny. It’s a lie!!! When I hear this opinion I’m starting to get angry, because an au pair is much more that a nanny. This girl (sometimes a man :P) is a new member of the family. She (or he) lives with a host family and she takes care of kids. Also, au pair works up to 30 hours per week and she gets pocket money. She doesn’t receive full salary. Au pair con select host family and on the contrary the host family can select au pair. All girls that were au pair they say “to be an au pair it’s a wonderful opportunity to explore the world and to learn a language”

I’m a student of Spanish Philology. I'm scared because this is my first blog

problem. The beginnings are difficult, but I think that every thing will be
fine. Pleaseee forgive me if I make a mistake J I didn’t use English for 5 years. I
think that this blog is a very good opportunity to brush up my English ;)
I would like to write about my life and me experience
gaines as an Au Pair in Spain. I worked as an au pair – twice in Palma de
Mallorca. I fell in love with this island. The climate of Mallorca is unique!
Also, I would like to write something about the monuments, beaches of Mallorca.

Best,
Kamila
